- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- 4 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme or parsley)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced mushrooms, sauté until mushrooms are tender. Season with salt, pepper, and dried herbs.
- Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the mushroom mixture and shredded cheese.
- Heat olive oil in the skillet and sear each stuffed chicken breast for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, buttery goodness!
Notes
