Description
A delicious blend of tender chicken, buttery garlic sauce, and linguine, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then stir in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet. Toss thoroughly to coat the pasta in the luscious sauce.
- Slice the rested chicken and lay it on top of the linguine. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and serve immediately.
Notes
Don’t skip resting the chicken to ensure juicy bites. Cook the linguine al dente for best texture.
