Description

A delicious blend of tender chicken, buttery garlic sauce, and linguine, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and let it rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then stir in the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet. Toss thoroughly to coat the pasta in the luscious sauce.
  5. Slice the rested chicken and lay it on top of the linguine. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t skip resting the chicken to ensure juicy bites. Cook the linguine al dente for best texture.
