Description

Creamy Beef Pasta is a comforting dish, perfect for any occasion. It’s quick to prepare and sure to win over even the pickiest eaters!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon until browned, about 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream, gradually stirring in reserved pasta water until the sauce reaches desired consistency. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until melted.
  5. Toss the cooked penne into the skillet, combining it with the creamy sauce. Serve hot, garnished with more Parmesan or fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta as it continues to cook in the sauce. Fresh ingredients make a significant difference.
