  • Heavy cream

  • Onion
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh basil (or dried)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant and slightly translucent.
  3. Stir in the canned tomatoes, along with salt and pepper; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Toss in your pasta and enough water to cover it entirely.
  5. Bring to a rolling boil and cook until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  6. Lower the heat, add heavy cream and fresh basil, stirring until combined and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.

Notes
