Description
A rich and indulgent dish featuring cheese ravioli in a creamy garlic sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (25 oz) package cheese ravioli
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 tsp garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup baby spinach (washed and chopped)
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained and chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the Ravioli: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the ravioli and cook according to the package instructions. Once tender, drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Create the Cream Base: Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking to combine. Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Continue whisking until the sauce bubbles lightly.
- Incorporate Cheese: Gradually add the shredded parmesan cheese, whisking continuously until fully melted and incorporated into the sauce.
- Add Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomatoes: Stir in the chopped baby spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for a few minutes until the spinach wilts and softens.
- Combine and Serve: Carefully add the cooked ravioli to the skillet, tossing gently to coat. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute the cheese ravioli for a plant-based option and use coconut cream in place of heavy cream.
