Tender chicken in a creamy sauce served over angel hair pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the Crock Pot in a single layer. Season lightly with pepper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the Italian dressing mix, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and softened cream cheese. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
- Near serving time, cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well.
- Remove the chicken and shred or slice it, then return to the Crock Pot and stir into the sauce.
- Serve the chicken and sauce over the angel hair pasta and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Soften cream cheese before mixing. If the sauce is too thin, cook on high with the lid off to reduce.
