- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups beef broth
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup provolone cheese, sliced
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in your slow cooker.
- Top it with the sliced onion, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour in the beef broth, ensuring the meat is well-covered.
- Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours, or until the beef is tender and pulls apart easily.
- Once done, remove the roast from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
- Return the shredded beef to the cooker to soak up the juices.
- To serve, fill each hoagie roll with the shredded beef and generously top with provolone cheese.
- Serve alongside a small bowl of au jus for dipping!
