  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 sleeve (about 30) buttery round crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream, mixing until smooth and evenly combined. Spread the filling into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed buttery crackers with the melted butter and toss until every cracker piece is moistened.
  4. Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the chicken layer, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the filling is hot and bubbly and the topping is golden-brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

You can swap Greek yogurt for sour cream or use gluten-free crackers for a gluten-free version. Leftover roasted chicken or canned chicken can also be used.
