Description

A succulent, sweet, and tangy crock pot ham that’s perfect for Easter gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 57 lbs)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • Whole cloves (optional for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Place the fully cooked ham in the crock pot, cut side down.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  3. Pour the glaze over the ham, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  4. If desired, stud the ham with whole cloves.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until the ham is heated through and fork-tender.
  6. Allow the ham to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For optimal tenderness, cook on low rather than high. Feel free to swap honey with maple syrup or agave nectar for a different twist.
