Description
A succulent, sweet, and tangy crock pot ham that’s perfect for Easter gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 fully cooked ham (about 5–7 lbs)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- Whole cloves (optional for garnishing)
Instructions
- Place the fully cooked ham in the crock pot, cut side down.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
- Pour the glaze over the ham, ensuring it’s well-coated.
- If desired, stud the ham with whole cloves.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until the ham is heated through and fork-tender.
- Allow the ham to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For optimal tenderness, cook on low rather than high. Feel free to swap honey with maple syrup or agave nectar for a different twist.
