Ingredients
- Slider buns
- Roast beef (thinly sliced)
- Caramelized onions
- Cheese (Swiss or provolone)
- Au jus for dipping
- Butter
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the onions over medium heat until they’re golden brown and fragrant.
- Slice the slider buns in half and arrange the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer a generous amount of roast beef on the buns, followed by caramelized onions and cheese.
- Place the top halves of the buns on each slider.
- Brush the tops with melted butter, then sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
- Serve warm with a small bowl of au jus on the side for dipping.
Notes
For a kick, consider adding jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Sautéed mushrooms can enhance the filling too.
