- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: pickles, mustard, ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll package instructions.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Toss in the ground beef, season it with salt and pepper, and cook until it’s beautifully browned.
- Off the heat, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts into the mixture.
- Unroll your crescent roll dough and divide it into triangles.
- At the wide end of each triangle, spoon a bit of the beef mixture and roll it up snugly.
- Arrange these on a baking sheet and bake according to the package instructions until they turn a lovely golden brown.
- Serve warm with your choice of toppings.
Notes
For added flavor, brush the tops with melted butter or garlic-infused oil before baking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days or frozen for up to a month.
