Description
This Garlic Parmesan Meatloaf is a savory combination of ground meat, garlic, and Parmesan, creating a gourmet comfort food experience perfect for any dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (or a combination of ground beef and pork/turkey)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (substitute almond flour for a gluten-free version)
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional glaze: garlic butter or marinara sauce
Instructions
- Prepare Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, place the ground meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, milk, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to combine gently until everything is just incorporated; avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender.
- Shape Loaf: Transfer the mixture to a parchment-lined loaf pan, or shape it freehand on a baking sheet for a more rustic look.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). If you’re using a glaze, brush it on during the last 10 minutes of baking for an extra burst of flavor.
- Rest & Slice: Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring each slice is succulent and flavorful.
Notes
For best results, don’t overmix the ingredients and use fresh garlic and herbs.
