  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it.
  2. Combine in a large bowl the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, diced onion, egg, milk, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix gently.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Letting the meatloaf rest allows the juices to redistribute for better flavor.
