Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups fresh corn kernels (or frozen corn)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt the butter: In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add the corn: Stir in the corn and allow it to cook for about 5 minutes, giving it a gentle stir occasionally until slightly tender.
- Incorporate honey and cream: Add the honey and pour in the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Continue cooking: Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring until the corn is heated through and well coated in the mixture.
- Garnish: Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream. Drizzle extra honey on top before serving for added sweetness.
