- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup of fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese
- 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Butter for grilling
- Honey or maple syrup (optional for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the fresh blueberries and cream cheese until well-blended.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread the blueberry-cream cheese mixture evenly.
- Evenly sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the blueberry mixture.
- Top with the other slice of bread, ensuring the buttered side is facing out.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich onto the skillet.
- Grill the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until it’s golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice it in half, and drizzle with honey or maple syrup as desired. Serve warm and enjoy the gooey goodness!
