Description
A comforting dish featuring crispy, cheesy chicken breasts coated in a flavorful garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners and special gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) so it’s hot and ready for the chicken.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the grated parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and pepper.
- Prepare the chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the melted butter, coating it thoroughly.
- Dredge in the parmesan mixture: Take the butter-coated chicken and roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
- Bake: Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased. Pop them in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the coating is a beautiful golden brown.
- Garnish and enjoy: Once baked, sprinkle with fresh parsley for a vibrant pop of color. Serve immediately while it’s hot!
Notes
Consider adding herbs to the melted butter for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
