- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add the sliced mushrooms. Sauté until they turn golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Incorporate the minced garlic into the skillet and sauté for an additional minute, releasing its aroma.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms and garlic, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden.
- Allow it to cool for several minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
Notes
For a different protein, substitute chicken with turkey or use low-fat cream options. Pair with a green salad or steamed vegetables.
