Ingredients

- 500 g shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika or chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika or chili flakes.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a wide pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, but do not brown.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Add lemon zest and lemon juice, toss gently, sprinkle with fresh herbs, and remove from heat.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to prevent toughness. Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs.
