- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and the seasonings.
- In another dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Place flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast first in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Cook each piece of chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- Mix the remaining Parmesan with mozzarella cheese and minced garlic. Top the chicken with this mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts in your favorite seasoning blend for a few hours before cooking.
