Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in egg, ensuring it’s well-coated, then coat thoroughly with bread crumbs.
- Cook the coated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Layer a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
- If baking, transfer to the oven and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese melts. If frying, cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
- Drizzle with honey mustard sauce before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute chicken with turkey cutlets. Gluten-free bread crumbs can also be used for dietary needs.
