Sweet-savory sliders with juicy chicken, smoky bacon, and Gouda, brushed with glossy maple butter.

- 1 package (12 count) King’s Hawaiian Rolls
- 12 cooked chicken breast strips
- 4 slices Gouda cheese
- 4 to 6 slices cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup maple butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the connected Hawaiian rolls horizontally to separate the tops and bottoms.
- Spread a generous layer of maple butter over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Arrange the cooked chicken strips in a single layer across the bottom.
- Lay the cooked bacon slices on top of the chicken.
- Cover the bacon with Gouda slices.
- Replace the top half of the rolls and press gently.
- Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and brush the tops with additional maple butter.
- Let the sliders rest for 1–2 minutes, then cut into individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter version, use turkey bacon and low-fat cheese. For vegetarian sliders, substitute chicken and bacon with grilled marinated tempeh or portobello.
