- Juice of 1 lemon (approximately 2 tbsp)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Set chicken aside and melt unsalted butter in the same skillet.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in Dijon mustard and red pepper flakes, cooking briefly to combine.
- Add fresh parsley and dill, stirring to release aromas.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, simmering gently.
- Incorporate heavy cream to thicken the sauce.
- Return chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak in the sauce for a few more minutes.
- Garnish with extra parsley and serve.
Notes
Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
