- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk (or almond milk for a dairy-free option)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic, sauté it for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the pasta, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes until the pasta is fully cooked and the sauce is creamy.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it’s melted and evenly distributed.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
To customize, add cooked chicken or shrimp, or toss in some spinach, peas, or cherry tomatoes for a veggie-packed option. For a vegan version, use olive oil and plant-based milk.
