- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Combine sour cream, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, cornstarch, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Top each chicken breast with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
- Spread the creamy mixture over each chicken piece and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for approximately 60 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
