Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes each.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in the same skillet until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and chicken broth to create a creamy sauce.
  6. Add the uncooked rice to the skillet, stirring to incorporate into the mixture. Bring to a simmer.
