- 2 pounds chicken breasts (boneless, skinless preferred)
- 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot.
- Add the chopped onion on top.
- Pour in the BBQ sauce and chicken broth, followed by the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir everything together to combine thoroughly.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 4 hours.
- When ready, shred the chicken with two forks right in the pot, mixing it back into the sauce.
- Serve over rice or on buns for sliders.
