Description

A delightful twist on a classic favorite, these Cheeseburger Pretzel Bombs are warm, cheesy, and packed with flavor, perfect for snacking or as a fun main dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Coarse sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onions, mustard, and ketchup, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Prepare the pizza dough by rolling it out and cutting it into small squares (about 3×3 inches).
  5. Assemble the bombs by placing a spoonful of beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese in the center of each square.
  6. Seal the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to close tightly.
  7. Transfer each bomb seam-side down onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Add melted butter on top and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy kick, try using pepper jack cheese. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
