Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  7. Roll out the dough to form a pizza base.
  8. Spread the tomato sauce over the dough.
  9. Top with mozzarella slices and fresh basil.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

For a crispier crust, preheat the pizza stone in the oven before baking the pizza.
