Description
A unique twist on classic tacos featuring ground chicken, dill pickles, and ranch dressing, topped with crispy cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- Taco seasoning to taste
- Lettuce, for topping
- Tomatoes, for topping
- Sour cream, for serving
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Start by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken and combine well.
- Mix in Pickles and Ranch: Once the chicken is cooked, add in the chopped dill pickles and ranch dressing. Stir until thoroughly combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Prepare the Crispy Cheese: In a separate pan, melt a small amount of shredded cheese over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of cheese into the pan, letting it bubble and turn golden. Flip and cook until crispy, then remove and set aside. Repeat for additional crispy cheese if desired.
- Assemble the Tacos: Take your taco shells and fill each with the chicken mixture. Top generously with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and a piece of crispy cheese for that crunchy experience.
- Serve: Plate your tacos and serve with a dollop of sour cream on the side. Enjoy your culinary creation!
Notes
For added heat, consider adding jalapeños or opt for spicy ranch dressing. Customize toppings as desired.
