- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the ground beef, chopped mushrooms, shredded Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined – your hands work best for combining the meat!
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing to serve.
