Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound juicy shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 ripe avocado, cut into thin strips
- 1 medium cucumber, cut into long, thin strips
- 4–6 sheets of roasted nori
- 1/4 cup spicy mayo (mayonnaise mixed with sriracha to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare the shrimp: Boil in salted water until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and allow to cool.
- Cut your ingredients: Slice the avocado and cucumber into thin strips.
- Lay out the nori: Place a sheet of nori on a clean surface with the shiny side facing down.
- Fill the nori: Lay a line of shrimp, avocado, and cucumber across the center of the nori.
- Add flavors: Drizzle with spicy mayo, adjusting the amount to your preference.
- Roll the nori: Gently lift one edge of the nori and roll it over the filling, tucking it tightly as you go. Seal the edge with a dab of water.
- Serve: Slice the roll in half or leave it whole for a dramatic presentation.
